About Drumcondra
Fans of Bertie Ahern and the GAA will be familiar with Drumcondra. Lined with terraced red brick houses, Drumcondra is an inner city suburb located in the Northside of Dublin. The area is a working class, down to earth but with famous landmarks. Fagans pub was the scene of a pint and a chat with former Taoiseach, Ahern and former US President, Bill Clinton while Croke Park is home to the All Ireland finals and mainstream music acts. In between, there is a canal, Victorian and Edwardian era homes and easy access to the City. In addition to having family homes at less expensive prices than Dublin 6, there are also apartments while the area is well serviced with buses ensuring access to both local schools and those in surrounding areas.
